i agree with the banner. could use a little work. but banners are always difficult it seems like.
although i must reiterate. flat colors. all those gradients start to get confusing and kinda hurt the eyes after while. maybe leave the large areas gradient. and then make the smaller places flat.
also, maybe try a splash of another color in there to break the duotone thing up. maybe a little blue (complement of orange) or even some violet (to complement the yellow). this will help to break up the repitition which i dont think works this time. although it certainly could with just a little work.
i dont say this to be a jerk, i am just saying what i think would help for me. but its all personal preference. take it or leave it
