4000 Fonts

thats exactly what i did this morning but now photoshop lags like never lol
and half of the fonts don't have any sample in PS that sucks i don't know what i'm choosing...
i'm gonna delete half of it to see if its better

I think I know what's happening, I'm having weird problems too now that I installed some of these

I think some of the fonts are named the same as Windows fonts, and they were over-written when you installed the fonts. Then if you go and delete them, Windows makes other fonts default and does crazy things....

Sorry about that, I wasn't aware this was going to happen

What I'm going to do is get the default fonts from another computer and copy them over my other fonts, hopefully that will fix it.

*EDIT*

OK so I went through, deleted MOST of the fonts in my fonts folder and copied all the default Windows fonts back into the fonts folder and I think it fixed the problem

I seriously apologize for anyone who is having problems with these....my suggestion is to NOT overwrite fonts when it asks you if you want to or not

i didn't overwrrite anything at least i don't remember doing it
anyway my problem is just that it took like 5 minutes for the fonts to show all the samples so there is no problem at all
no actually now i've got a huge problem, i have like 2000 fonts and i don't know which one to use in my sigs lol

Yeah that does become a problem when you have so many you don't know which ones to use

yeah but like a friend of mine said to me once, you can be sure not to use the same font twice in your sigs lol

very great add.

i have a font library myself, thousands of fonts. but i only install them when i need them, i would share, but its mac only. sorry.

but i know everyone needs fonts, i would suggest though to preview them before adding most the time. just so you dont add a bunch that you will never use.
