1. Download your font, Most come in .rar or .zip files. You need to have either winrar or winzip in order to extract the files.

Downloads
Winrar -
Code:
http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10745708.html
WinZip -
Code:
http://www.winzip.com/prod_down.htm
Good Font Sites:
Download fonts | dafont.com
deviantART: where ART meets application!

2. Open up a folder and go to this location on your computer
Code:
C: > WINDOWS > Fonts
this is the location where all your fonts are and where all the programs fonts are based from. If your operating system is in a different drive then use the drive it is located in.

3. Open up the Font in the Rar or .Zip format and and simply drop and drag into the file folder of the fonts as seen below.

4 You should get a message saying your font has been installed successfully.

5. Now you can open up photoshop, notpad, wordpad, microsoft word, etc... and the font(s) you have installed should now be there ready for you to use
