How To Download And Add Fonts For Use In PhotoShop Or Any Program You Type With
-------- BY: GambleR

This tutorial will teach you how to add fonts for later use. Basically what the title states.

Things needed:
- A font you want to download
- 1 minute of you time
- Knowing How To Find "MY COMPUTER"

Here's What You Do:

Step 1:
First download the desired font, choose your directory to save it in, and hit save.

Step 2:
Double Click the winRAR Archive and highlight both files by holdong down CTRL on your keyboard and clicking both files. Once clicked and highlighted drag them to your desired folder.

Step 3:
Navigate yourself to MY COMPUTER
Then go to Local Disk C:
Then go to WINDOWS
Then go to the Fonts Folder

Step 4:
Now find the font you downloaded and extracted earlier.
Find the folder that you saved and extracted the font to earlier and highlight it.
Now by holding down the CLICK on your mouse drag it to the fonts folder.

You will get some weird pop-up that says 100% and your done.

Re: Adding Fonts

based on what you did to get the font to work does it bypass the installing step done if you open fonts from control panel, which i believe registers the font to windows or is drag and drop the norm?

I have alway gone through he font folder in the control panel to install my fonts.

Just asking to see if this reduces the resources used to track font in the font folder.
