How to post tutorials

This is going to be a quick guide on how we would like everyone to submit tutorials. If you would like details on why would like it this way, I can explain and go into further details but I'd rather not bore those that don't feel like they need to know.

Please do not format your tutorials as IMAGES!! This will not help you or the site as much. We'd appreciate it if you format your tutorials in text format. Thanks.

Be sure to pick a good title, not "AzzidReign's tag tutorial" - that means nothing to anyone. This is how tutorials should look once you pick your title:

Quote:
Description (1-2 sentence description of the tutorials in italics)

Result:

(Showing your end result of what you are doing. This should help get your tutorial more pageviews since this result will show up on the homepage once everyone starts doing tutorials in this format)

Requirements: (List all requirements here; such as brushes, patterns, stocks, renders, etc.)

Tutorial:
Step 1:

Step 2:

etc.
Please use images/screen shots to reference what you are trying to get across to the person reading the tutorial.
Now if you cannot post a tutorial like this.. like you are re-posting a tutorial or you made an image tutorial here's a few pointers:

---If you make the tutorial make it in parts so theres more images that can be indexed.
---When you post them before the tutorial have a brief paragraph (or few sentences) explaining the tutorial, with things such as what you will be doing, getting better with, what the tutorial will help you specialize in, what style the artwork is, and what size the canvas is. (You also post things such as requirements and credit in here.)
Example:In this tutorial we will making a 369x98 size tag. The style will be mainly c4d and smudging. We will also elaborate on how to use the pentool and render placement. You will need a render of choice (preferably a comic book character or superman) and some effect c4ds. This tutorial was written by GambleR. Have fun!

** NOTE ** ALWAYS USE PROPER ENGLISH SO THAT IT IS EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. Proper capitalizations and punctuations, and spellings. You'd be surprised at how much this helps.

Also, ALWAYS SAVE YOUR TUTORIALS even if they AREN'T yours. So when a link dies you can fix it.

If we can get everyone doing their tutorials in this format, we will get alot more traffic and benefit alot more from it!

Note: This is not required on tutorials, but it would be greatly appreciate by the management here at LayeredGFX.
