How To Install Plugins!

This is a minor tutorial on how to install your plug-ins for Photoshop. Many plug-ins will come in handy because they will expand what you can do in Photoshop and will further advance your skill.

Things You Will Need:
1. Your Plug-in
2. Photoshop (most versions work, but to be safe I know for a FACT CS2 works with this tutorial.)
3. winRAR
4. 2 Minutes of you life
5. http://www.Layeredgfx.com to find your best plugins!

BEFORE WE START MAKE SURE PHOTOSHOP IS CLOSED!

Now here's what you do!

Step 1.
Go to your site you want and download your desired plug-in for Photoshop.


Step 2.
Once this is done extract the archive it to your desired folder with WINrar..

If you don't have winRAR here you go, just install and your good to go

Step 3.
Go to your C: Drive. This is usually located under MY COMPUTER


Once in the C: Drive go to Program Files


Once there do this:


Step 4.
Now your are in the Photoshop folder. Some plug-ins need you to place a .dll file in this folder some don't. To use install plug-in that saves as .vtf (http://www.layeredgfx.com/forums/plu...photoshop.html) you had to put the .dll file here.

Step 5.
Now this is the more important part that every single plug-in requires...
