| (Sony Vegas) Zooming In On Medals In A Halo Montage This tutorial was written by STEGGY of Se7enSins... It will teach you how to zoom in on the medals in a halo montage. Ok, so heres a simple editing trick that a bunch of people use in their montages. First off, you want to split your clip around the time of the explosion. you dont have to, it just makes the keyframing easier. Now, at the clip you want to zoom in on, look at the clip on the timeline and click on the event pan/crop button on the right side of the clip. Now you are in the editer mode of panning and cropping. at the bottom, you will see a little timeline. this is where you create your keyframes. if you want a zoom in and zoom out, create 2 keyframes, one in the middle and one at the end. or if you just want to zoom in, just make 1 keyframe at the end. i will be doing zoom in and zoom out. So i click around the middle of the timeline and hit the plus sign at the bottom to insert a keyframe. Then i do the same near the end. Now at the middle keyframe, position the box around the medal, and x out. Test it out by playing your clip. Experiment to see what other kind of effects you can achieve using the panning and cropping feature of vegas. This is an example of what i just did following this tutorial. DEAD LINK |

| Re: (Sony Vegas) Zooming In On Medals In A Halo Montage I had a question. Do you actually have any videos of yours posted up that you used to edit with Vegas? If so, I'd like to see htem. I'm actually getting into the whole video business stuff myself and I need to know where to put out my moneys. |
